Duffield Rites Conducted

Funeral rites for Mrs. Bessie Duffield, 78, who died suddenly on Monday morning, October 26, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 28th at the Sutton Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Jeniver Jones, James W. Perrill, E. Oldham Berry, Eugene Facemire, James Duffield and Dr. J. C. Eakle.

The rites were conducted by Rev. Frank McKinster, pastor of the Sutton Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Duffield was an active member.The services were largely attended by friends and relatives. Floral offerings were exceedingly beautiful.

A number of friends and relatives attended from out of town. Among them were Mrs. William Carper, Mr. Carl Carper, and Mr. Robert Newlon of Ashtabula, o.; Mr. and Mrs. Phay Posey and Mr. and Mrs, Robert Ziegler of Clarksburg; James A. Duffield and Mr. and Mrs. Fleet Green of Charleston; Mr. L. H. Rohrbough, John Dyer, John Shock, Paul Cutlip and Jeorge Jackson of Webster Springs; Mr. James Reed, Clay, and Paul Kidd, Glenville.

Mrs. Duffield will long be remembered for her beautiful character and ever loving kindness to others.
