Lawrence W. LaPierre, 55, of Bangor died Friday at Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was a truck driver for A. W. Chaffee Co. Born in Indian Orchard, Springfield, Mass., he was a Coast Guard veteran. He leaves his wife, Veronica LaPierre of Bangor; a son, Charles Soule of Houston, Texas; eight daughters, Helen Torres and Ashley LaPierre of Bangor, Michelle LaPierre of Springfield, Nancy LaPierre, Christina LaPierre, and Susan LaPierre of Granby, Mass., Marcia Smith of Washington and Debbie Miles of Kissmmee, Fla.; his mother, Mabel LaPierre of Bangor; a brother, Francis Soule of Springfield and six grandchildren. The burial was in Sebec Corner Cemetery at Dover Foxcroft.
