The Obituary of Allen Rinehart

By request: The Times publishes the following obituary of the Late Allen Rinehart, which was written by his own hand, except time of death.

Allen Rinehart of Co. I 86th Indiana Vol. Infantry, was born in Frankfort, Ross county, Ohio, Friday February, 22, 1828. When nine months and three days old with his parents in an ox wagon, he moved to what was then Wabash county, which extended from the Wabash River to the Ohio State line. Two years later it was laid off into counties and we were left in Clinton County where he lived ever since. On March 8, 1848, at Prairieville, he was united in marriage to Mary J. Loveless. To them six children were born. David R. of Frankfort, Annette Yount, of Thorntown; Rose A. Fickle, of Egypt, W.N.G, Rinehart, on the home place, Emma J. and Mary S.B. deceased. He is survived by three brothers, John B. Rinehart, of Denver, Col.; Wm. Vance Rinehart of Seattle, Wash.; Samuel H. Rinehart, of Lebanon, Ind. Departed this life April 15, 1905.
