Warren was a farmer in the towns of German, Smithville, and McDonough. He served for a time as postmaster in East German, and as justice of the peace in McDonough.

FORD-Warren E. Ford, 92, McDonough, died Sunday evening at the Taylor Nursing Home in Greene. He is survived by a son, Ivon R. Ford Sr., McDonough; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Lewis, Binghamton; four grandchildren, Mrs. Irene Gilliand, Oxford, Lewis H. Ford and Ivon E. Ford Jr., both of McDonough; Richard Lewis, Binghamton; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Seymour Funeral Home, Oxford, where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Clifford Bound of the Oxford Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Union Cemetery, McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends who wish, may make memorial donations in Mr. Ford’s memory to the charity of their choice.
