Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Carter funeral home in Flora for Mrs. Florence Brooke Yeater, 79, of 1611 Michigan Avenue, Logansport. The Reverend Neils Esbensen officiated and burial was made in Zion cemetery, west of Bringhurst.

She died at 9:15 p.m. Friday at her home after an illness of five months.

Born in Carroll countly October 22, 1883, she was the daughter of James Franklin and Elvira Sebering Brooke. Her marriage to Frank Yeater was on May 30, 1900. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

Survivors are, one daughter and two sons: Mrs. Olive Carey, Logansport; Harold, Aurora, Illinois; Leroy, Rockford, Illinois; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and one brother, A. R. Brooke, Columbus, Ohio.

Also surviving, are two sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Morrow, Delphi, and Mrs. Josephine Toole, Huntington, West Virginia. One sister, Mrs. Hazel Sines, of Delphi, died January 19.
