Mr. Culbreath had been in declining health for a number of years, but prior to his death was in bed for only a short while.
He was twice married, his first wife being Mrs. Maude Pollard Culbreath, who died a number of years ago. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Ruth Forest Kemp Culbreath; one son, James Smyer Culbreath; one grandson, Jimmie Culbreath, Jr.; two brothers, Elbert and Hayne Culbreath, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Culbreath was buried in Mt. of Olive's cemetery.
