Johanna grew up in Bunkilla, her father's name might have been John Keily. She married Daniel Linihan (1795-1881) on July 17, 1828; witnesses were Florence Keily, Ellen Keily and Mary Sullivan.

They had six children: Daniel b.1829 in Bunkilla, John b.1830 in Bunkilla, Timothy b.1833 in Bunkilla, Michael b.1836 in Fornaght, Margaret b.1839 in Fornaght and Mary b.1841 in Fornaght.
About 1852, Daniel and the five oldest of their children came to the USA -- first to Juneau County, Wisconsin. In the 1860's they moved to Waseca County, Minnesota.

Johanna and daughter Mary did not come to the USA with the rest of the family. Johanna died in 1857 (maybe in Fornaght.) I don't know what became of their daughter Mary.
" Dan's mother (Johanna) fainted to the ground when his ship was leaving, never saw her again"

Johanna's husband Daniel Linihan was born in 1795; his brother John was born in 1790 and stayed in Ireland with his wife Mary Sullivan; his brother Timothy was born in 1792 and came to Tomah, Wisconsin with his wife Johanna Barry and seven of their eight children. The three brothers' father, also named Daniel Linehan, farmed 22 acres and his oldest son John farmed 11 acres in Bunkilla in the 1820's; they were evicted by 1836.

Johanna might be a sister of Ellen Keily who married Michael Linehan on August 7, 1828; they also lived in Bunkilla and had three children, Margaret b.1829, Mary b.1835 and Honora b.1845.

Any further information on this family in Ireland would be greatly appreciated.

Old Cemetery is just a guess as to where Johanna is buried, a second possibility is St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Fornaught.
