Daughter of John and Sarah Pounden, second wife of Edward Erson, Assistant Overseer of Works, Royal Engineering Department for the Quebec City Garrison.

Interestingly their marriage bann indicates a fee of 200 pounds paid by Edward for the license to marry, a huge sum in 1822.

Sadly Anne died as a result of childbirth (as did Edward's first wife), less than a month after the death of their only child.
