Dorothy Ann Haessly, 57, of Newport, OH, died, February 21, 2005, at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. She was born, November 22, 1947, in Washington County, WV, a daughter of the late Alfred Edwin and Gertrude Adeline Blair Hendricks. She was a graduate of Newport High School, a member of the Newport Baptist Church, and had been employed by Kenmack Lumber Company.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth A. Haessly, Sr., one daughter, Charolette A. Haessly of Marietta, OH, one son, Kenneth "Jay" Haessly, Jr. and his wife, Pattie, one grandson, Jarrod A. Haessly all of Newport, OH, three brothers, Everett "Sonny" Hendricks of Spindale, NC, Gary Hendricks and George Hendricks of New Matamoras, OH, two sisters, Jean Fry of Canton, OH and Doris Senior of Tacoma, WA, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Stackpole, Rose Mary Campbell, and Ethel Albney, and one brother, Elmer Hendricks.

Services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2005, at 3 P. M. at the Newport Baptist Church, Newport, OH with Pastor Joe Law and Pastor Marvin Sallee officiating. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery. Calling hours from 2 to 9 P. M. Wednesday, and from 9 A. M. to 12 noon Thursday at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, and from 2 to 3 P. M. Thursday at the church.
