Mr. Allgood died at his residence in Texas City, Monday, January 23, 1989 after a lengthy illness. He as a native of Homer, the son of the late Myron Allgood and the late Mrs. Georgia Cox. Mr. Allgood served in the U. S Navy for 20 years. He was a former resident of Summerfield and Minden and attended schools in Woodsboro and Palacias, Tex.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Reeve Allgood of Texas City, Texas; two sons, Marcus Paul Allgood of Texas City, Texas and Malcolm Allgood of Providence, R.I.; one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Marilyn Allgood Armstrong of Edwardsville, Ill.; two brothers, Luther Allgood of Summerfield and George Kenneth Branch of West Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
