Floyd was a delightful and gentle man to be around. He always had a big smile on his face and was easy going. He was born in Dawson, Northern New Mexico where his father had immigrated from Italy about 1910. His father worked for the Phelps Dodge Coal mining company there. The family probably stayed there till after 1920. By 1930 The famly is in Pueblo Colorado an engaged in farming. Floyd's Grandfather had moved to the Pueblo area and built the original home about 1908. When Floyd and his wife married they lived on that same farm all their life, taking care of his parents and one sister . Floyd helped out on the farm and was also a truck driver and for a time worked for a furniture moving company in Pueblo.
