Phillip Edward Taylor, age 50, formerly of Rigby, passed away at his home, in Chandler, Arizona, Wednesday, January 23, 2008. He was born October 22, 1957 at Rigby, a son of Elbert Dale and Lila Cheney Taylor. He was raised in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. He continued his education at Ricks College. He served a mission to the Kentucky – Tennessee Mission. He graduated from B.Y.U. Provo. He then went on to work for Sprouce Rites in the 80's. He lived and worked in Arizona at various stores including Home Depot, and most recently for Sunrise Engineering. His twenty-four Nieces and Nephews and forty-three Great Nieces and Nephews looked forward to when Uncle Phil came to visit; he will be missed by all. He is survived by his father; Elbert D. Taylor of Rigby, sister; Erma (Ronald) Butikofer, of Idaho Falls, Brothers: Steven C. (Connie) Taylor, of Idaho Falls, Dale E. (Thelma) Taylor, of Idaho Falls, Charles D. (Jeri) Taylor or Rigby, Nolan C. (Elizabeth/Liz) Taylor, of Shelley, Ernest D. (Gail) Taylor, of Fillmore, UT, Nephews and Nieces He is preceded in death by his mother; Lila J. Cheney Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Rigby Idaho East Stake Center, with Bishop Wayne Call, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 12:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
