Obituary: Roy Bowden Funeral Here Today
Funeral services for Roy Bowden, will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Oak Grove Church with E. N. McCutchin officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Branch Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Brothers of Dukedom.
Mr. Bowden died Sunday morning at Hillview Hospital,. He had been a patient there for a week after suffering a heart attack. He was a member of the Sandy Branch Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors included the widow Mrs. Nell Bowden; four sons, R. V., William and Wendell Bowden, Detroit, and Clarence Bowden, Orlando, Fla; two daughters, Mrs. M. W. Ingrum, Clinton, and Mrs. J. C. Moon, Norfolk, Va.; three brothers, Clarence and Haynes Bowden, Detroit, and John Bowden, Flaris, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Grissam, Center Line, Miss., and Mrs. Berah Hampton, Detroit, and 19 grandchildren
