Mr. Beatty married Dollie M. Jenkins October 24, 1947 in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was a retired United States Army veteran serving in WWII, Korean, and two tours in Vietnam.
He was also a retired Arkansas Investigator for the Bureau of Standards. He was a member of the Gassville Baptist Church.
Mr. Beatty is survived by his wife: Dollie M. Beatty of Gassville, two sons: Jimmy Beatty and wife Patricia of Loda, Illinois and Hilton Beatty, Jr. and wife Louise of Atlanta, Georgia, his mother: Grace Beatty and a sister: Edna Strickland both of York, Alabama, two brothers: Royce Beatty and wife Linda of Lauderdale, Mississippi and James Beatty and wife Shirley of Joppa, Alabama, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two special friends: Corey Queen and Travis Greenwall. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter: Lynn Poteete.
A visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2011 from Noon until 4:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gassville Baptist Church.
