Johnston, May 13. — Joe Clark, prominent farmer of this section, died suddenly at his home this morning of a heart attack. He was 62 years old. He was born in Edgefield county. Services will be held at the Methodist church at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Ministers in charge will be the Rev. A. M .Smith and the Rev. Hamlin Etheridge.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kella Clark; and daughters, Mrs. H. C. Woodward of Bishopville, Mrs. J. H. Walker of Columbia, Mrs. R. H. Taylor of Greenville, Mrs. E. M. Mobley of Bishopville, Mrs. E. D. Johnson of Saluda; and one son, E. R. Clark of Lanes, and ten grandchildren.
