KENNEDY, John Marcellus, (''Jack""), 75, of Roanoke, died Monday, August 17, 1998. He was the widower of Archer Kennett Kennedy. He was a member of the Kiwanis and the Elks Club, and an active member of the Romeo's (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Mr. Kennedy retired from Norfolk Southern after 41 years of service. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas M. Kennedy and Betty of Richmond, Samuel W. Kennedy and Novella of Gibsonville, N.C., and Joseph H. Kennedy and Rebecca of Roanoke; brothers, Douglas O. Kennedy and Charles C. Kennedy, and grandchildren, Marc, Michelle, T. J., Sarah, Andrew and Kathleen.
