Funeral Rites for Arndorfer Held Friday

Ackley -- Funeral services for William J. Arndorfer, 80, were held Friday morning at the St. Benedict Catholic church with the Rev. C. A. Ahmann officiating. Burial was at the St. Benedict Catholic cemetery.

Mr. Arndorfer was born Nov. 7, 1867 at Beaver Dam, Wis., and received his education there before moving to St. Benedict at the age of 16.

He married Maria Germann May 24, 1898. The couple resided on a farm until 1920 at which time Mr. and Mrs. Arndorfer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May.

He is survived by 6 children and 14 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Henry Arndorfer, Michael Arndorfer, George Arndorfer, Herbert Arndorfer, Emil Arndorfer and Nick Arndorfer, all nephews of the deceased man.
