She was born March 19, 1913 in Eagle Center, daughter of Lewis and Helen McGarvey Klein. She married Russell E. Edsill on August 7, 1937 in Eagle Center. He died July 27, 1983.
Mrs. Edsill was employed for many years at Blacks Department Store, retiring in 1978.
Survivors include: a daughter, Margaret "Margie" (Pat) Kane of Waterloo; a daughter-in-law, Darralee Edsill of Avada, Colorado; a granddaughter, Angie Craig of Avada, Colorado; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma "Billie" Hildman Gilbert and Kathleen Schaefer, both of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: a son, Robert Edsill; a grandson, Shane Edsill; two brothers, Daniel and Patrick Klein; and four sisters, Alice Klein, Dorothy Kressig, Monica Loftus and Rosemary Schaefer.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with burial in the Church Cemetery, Eagle Center. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary. Visitation will continue at the church for an hour before services on Monday.
