Stratford, Texas – Bonnie Lou Hamilton Cryer, 72, passed away early Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at her daughter's home in Guymon, Oklahoma.
The daughter of Beulah (Robbins) and Dick Farris, she was born April 9, 1939 in Santa Anna, Texas. Bonnie was reared in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School. She was united in marriage to Emery Hamilton on March 13, 1955. Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for more than 20 years at Southwestern Public Service. Bonnie was a nurturing and caring woman; she was always taking care of her family and loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Dickie and husband Jack Schriber of Guymon; Tracy and husband Wade Pugh of Texhoma, OK; Kerry Hamilton and wife Melanie of Kingwood, Texas; six grandchildren, Kayla and husband Mike Yates of Texhoma; Leslie and husband Aaron Pritchard of Guymon; Cody Hamilton of Amarillo, TX; Savannah, Randall and Patton Pugh, all of Texhoma; five great grandchildren, Makenzie and Kathryn Yates; Jordan and Seth Pritchard; and Craig Pugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Dick Farris; her husband, Emery Hamilton, who passed away in 1994; her sister, Bobbie Farris; and two grandchildren, Nathan Garcia and Jake Wade Pugh.
Graveside funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, November 26th, 2:00 P.M. at the Stratford Cemetery with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Services are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
