Ader(Ada Hay) Dupin, 97, of Big Clifty, died Friday, December 12, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Grant Dupin; her parents, Roscoe and Viow (Skeeters) Hay; two Sisters, Annie Dupin and Beulah Smallwood; and one brother, Herbert Hay. She was a homemaker and the longest living member of the Mt. Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She and her husband Joe were the owners and operators of Dupin's Grocery Store for years. She is survived by her daughter, Stella Smallwood of Big Clifty; two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Lorah Dupin of Big Clifty, and James and Ethel Dupin of Big Clifty; one grandson, Ronnie Smallwood of Big Clifty; two granddaughters, Beverly and Keith Ray of Big Clifty, and Charnell and Carl Cox of Cecilia; one great-grandson, DeWayne Ray; two great-granddaughters, Carla Scott and Candace Cox; one great-great-granddaughter, Aidan Scott; one great-great grandson, Benjamin Ray; and two great-great-granddaughters, Presleigh Scott and Gillian Ray. The funeral is Monday at 11 a.m. at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Jimmie Sutton officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
