OBITUARY OF WILLIAM H. ALDEN
Battle Creek, MI Enquirer & Evening New Feb. 1, 1932

WILLIAM ALDEN
Willaim ALDEN, 79, died at his home at 154 Lathrop avenue, Monday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock following a week's illness. He had been a resident of Batle Creek for about 42 years. Mr. ALDEN was a member of the First Baptist church and of the Three-Quarters Century club. He is survived by his widow, Lottie: two sons, Alvah and Minor Alden of Jackson; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Minor ALDEN of Sharon avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist church in charge of the Rev. S. B. CRANDELL. Burial will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at Farley funeral home until Thursday morning at 11 o'clock.

Robert Alden said that William Alden, his Great Grandfather built the house at 304 Third St. Vandercook Lake, Jackson Co., MI. in 1923 He was a cabnet maker.
