Mrs. Beatrice Ratliff Sykes, 88, died Friday evening (December 20, 2013) at Satilla Care Center following a short illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County and a member of Second Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Sykes was a daughter to the late John R. Ratliff and Belva Ann Cribb Ratliff. She was married to the late Lloyd Wyland Sykes and preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.
The survivors include her son, David Sykes (wife Kim) of Waycross; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
