Died, at the family residence about seven miles north of Gonzales, Texas, this morning at 11:30 o'clock, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, wife of J. B. Brown, aged 48 years, 10 moths and 1 day.
The funeral services will be held at the Odd Fellows cemetery tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

Angels sing their glad refrain another soul is added to their band. Mrs. Elizabeth Brown wife of J. Berry Brown, aged 42 years, 10 months and 1 day. For more than eight weeks before her death she was confined to her bed, waiting in pain. She bore it with christian fortitude. Ever patient ever thankful to all who administered to her wants. Physicians, relatives and friends seemed never to grow tired of trying to do all for her good and comfort. However only for a short while at times did she rest. But t'is done her rest is now eternal. She has answered God's last call and was ready to meet it. As a mother and wife she was to give her up. As to the community, in her it has lost one who was always ready to lend a helping hand in sickness, sorrow, health and especially to the up-building of the church and Sunday school, always taking a delight in working for her Master. Bereaved and dear ones, weep not, mourn not for her, Shes "Asleep in Jesus Blessed Sleep." Waiting and watching for loved ones to come. So strive to join her in that blissful sleep.
