June had many interests, but her family and church always came first. June was proud to be a beautician and her friends and family benefited from her skills. She was a wonderful homemaker, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and raising four daughters. She was an award winning quilter and she crocheted dozens of afghans that she shared with family and friends.
June and Dr. Cobabe loved traveling and June was the navigator as Dr. Cobabe flew them in their own plane around the United States.
She supported her husband in his many endeavors. She helped with company bookkeeping, medical school, and with his medical practice. She helped to develop and was co-owner of Powder Mountain Ski Resort. Many of her days were spent making scones and soups at the ski resort. When she wasn't working, she loved to watch the skiers and to get to know the guests.
She loved being active in the LDS church and served in many positions during her life, including being the President of the Utah Deaf School Primary. She received an award for her 15 years of service.
June is survived by her husband Alvin Fred Cobabe, M.D., daughters: Gayla (Wayne) Folkman, St. George, Utah, Shawna (Clair) Van Meeteren, Eden, Utah, and Aleta (Marc) Paulsen, Eden, Utah. 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren, and 11 step great/great grandchildren.
