Mr. A.D. Carr, of the Big Creek Community, died Sunday, November 23, 2003, at his residence under the care of Wiregrass Hospice. He was 68.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rehobeth Baptist Church with Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Travis Free will officiate. The interment will follow at Big Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Other than scheduled visitation times, the family will be at the home of Mr. A.D., 1423 Providence Road in Slocomb. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2346 West Main St., Suite 3, Dothan, Ala. 36301, or the Rehobeth Baptist Church Building Funds, 4444 S.
