JOHNNIE D. CARR, 67, of Auburndale died Friday. He was born in Houston County, Ala., and moved to Auburndale in 1952 from Alabama. He was a retired truck driver for E.J. Keeffe Co., a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Auburndale Veterans of Foreign Wars and Lena Vista Baptist Church of Auburndale. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; a son, Johnnie Jr. of Auburndale; a daughter, Linda A. Mercer of Okeechobee; a brother, A.D. of Dothan, Ala.; two sisters, Annie-Lou Lindsey of Bowling Green and Loverne Carter of Bridgeton, N.J.; six grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
