Dorothy Lucille Butler, age 87, departed this life on November 18, 2011 at 4:27 PM at her home in Rogersville, Missouri, with His welcoming grace, and the love of her family around her.

Dorothy was born on February 9, 1924 in Bolivar, Missouri the daughter of Earnest Seiner and Edna Graham Seiner.

She was married to the late Roy Oscar Butler on December 7, 1945 in Bolivar. To this union was born four children, Sharon, Ronald, Terry and Deborah.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Edna Seiner, her husband Roy Butler and her sister Helen Anderson.

Surviving Dorothy are two sons; Terry Butler and his wife Joyce, and Ronald Butler Sr. and his wife Melba, two daughters; Sharon Brown and her husband Dale, and Debbie Jackson and her husband Kenny, one brother; Bob Seiner and his wife Darlene, and one sister; Joan Wilson, eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, all of Bolivar, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Butler Funeral Home with Brother Calvin Stoops and Brother Dan Breshears officiating under the care and direction of Butler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Payne Cemetery north of Polk.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Butler, Keith Butler, Ronnie Butler, Jr., Jason Butler, Scott Ryan, and Joey Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Jenkins, Vincent Woods, Jacob Butler, Brother Jeff Shelenhamer, and Brother Floy Parrack.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Butler Funeral Home.
