Hill Services for Josephine Oliver Hill, 94, of Seagraves will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Seagraves.

Internment will be at Gaines County Cemetery of Seagraves under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors.

She died Friday, March 21, 2003 at the Garrison Center. She was born on May 13, 1908 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Irvin and O Dessie Oliver.

She attended school in Collin County and the Wellman Community where she lived since she was 13. She attended East Texas State Teacher s College in Commerce and later Texas Tech University. She taught English and History for many years in Gaines County. She had a special love of photography and loved to crochet, sew and tat.

She married Mack Hill on Oct.10,1942. He preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include one daughter, Rudy Carolyn and her husband Henry Johnson of San Antonio; two sisters, Rudy Fleming of Seagraves and Mary Lou Currie of Seminole.

She was preceded in death by her son Butch Hill and four brothers, Lum Oliver, Dot Oliver, Mutt Oliver and Sam Oliver.
