Carolyn was born May 1, 1946, in Brownfield, Texas, to Mack Hill and Josephine Oliver Hill. She was a native of Seagraves, Texas, and a graduate of the local high school. She attended Eastern New Mexico University for two years in Portales, and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. In April 1969, she graduated from Pan American World Airways International Stewardess College in Florida and was a stewardess until she retired.
Carolyn loved to sew and travel. Everyone that knew her knew that she was a very loving, soft-spoken person and she will be missed dearly. She had three companion cats that she really loved and was loved back. They were a great blessing to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Johnson; parents, Mack Hill and Josephine Oliver Hill; brother, Irvin H. Hill, killed in Vietnam serving our country. She is survived by her dear friends, Maxine Scott and Christina Perez.
