Walter Larvie, age 92, of Omaha, NE, passed away November 17, 2011, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Omaha, NE. Walter was born January 1, 1919, in Norris, SD, to Joseph and (Brown) Larvie. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII.
Walter is survived by his daughter, Shelley Larvie (Pam), grandson, Gordon Brown; great grandsons; sister, Gloria Chessareck; nieces and nephews.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice; son, Verlyn and wife, Kathryn.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.----------
