Adell Marie Anderson was the eighth child of Anton Anderson and his only child by his second wife, Mina Christiansen Anderson. Adell's father died in 1925. I have not yet found Adell in the 1930 Census, but the widowed Mina is in Hendricks, MN, in 1930, working as a cook.
On Nov. 6, 1931, Mina, married Simon Paulson, and in January of 1940 Simon passed away. Adell married Harold O. Mellem on Aug 16, 1936, and in the 1940 Census, Adell, Harold and the widowed Mina are all living together in Grand Forks ND. In November of that year their only Adell and Harold's only child, Linda Sue Mellem, was born. Linda Sue Mellem Collins died in 2017.
