Born January 17, 1933, in Floresville, Mr. Barber owned and operated Barber Heating and Air Conditioning Services and Repair for 35 years in Austin and Center Point. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Doris Evelyn Millard on July 7, 1956, in Austin. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Laura Beakley of Center Point; three sons, Timothy Edward Barber of Center Point, William C Seward of Round Rock and Steven S Steward of Conroe; a sister, Willie Faye Bagley of Pasadena; a brother Harlus F Barber of Mt Pleasant; and 15 grandchildren.
Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
