Funeral services for Isabel Custer, age 91, of Lake Providence will be 11:00AM, Friday, December 31, 2010 at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bearden officiating. Interment will be in the Providence Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 AM until 6 PM and then Friday from 9:00AM until service time at Cox Funeral Home.
Mrs. Custer was a well known florist at Cox Flower Shop for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, A. B. "Brown" Custer; 2 grandsons; parents, James E. McNemar and Laura Elizabeth Rollinson McNemar; 1 brother and 5 sisters.
Mrs. Custer is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, James R. "Bub" and Aurora Custer of Lake Providence, Louisiana, Allen and Judy Custer of Monroe, Louisiana, Glenn and Teresa Custer of Sondheimer, Louisiana, Clyde and Lisa Custer of Calhoun, Louisiana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Johnnie Faye and Jerry Varner of Lake Providence, Louisiana, Janet and Gary Newton of Lake Providence, Louisiana; 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be her Cox Funeral Home and Cox Flower Shop Co-Workers.
