Lawrence Bell, 1, was a victim of the Halifax Explosion. He was killed in his home with his mother and two younger siblings. His father and four older siblings survived.

He was the son of Thomas Bell and Jessie Mary Dunn Bell.

The family lived at 1349 Barrington Street.

Due to the amount of damage done, the tsunami, the fires and a snowstorm just days later, many bodies were either not recovered until the spring or summer. Many bodies were never found at all.
