Mrs. Samantha Marshall, 53 died at 3:50p.m. Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edddie Craycraft of Henley following an illness of the last seven months of paralysis.
Mrs.Marshall was born at Elliott County,Ky a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson. Her husband William Marshall died in 1923, she was a member of the first Baptist church at Greenup.
Surviving are these other children: Ernest Marshall, 532 Second St,Mrs. Ine Wireman of Riggs, Ky, Mrs. Bessie Bradley of York, Ky, Mrs. Jane Rose of Oldtown, Ky.,Mrs. Molly Cochenour of Nauvoo and Mrs. Mary Grimes of Columbus.
She also leaves four brothers and a sister; John Johnson of Lucasville, Thurman Johnson of Hanging Rock, Quantrel Johnson of New Boston, Richard Johnson of Riggs and Mrs. Mollie Sexton of Willard, Ky.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Emrick. The body is at the home of Mrs. Mollie Cochenour of Nauvoo.
