Service for Dorothy (Mrs. Albert) Schmidt, 74, of 110 Ave., B, Lincoln Mobile Estates, a former Elizabeth resident who died Thursday evening at her home following a long illness, will be at 2pm Sunday at Nadig-Law-Jones Funeral Home in Elizabeth. The Rev. Greta McDonald, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Elizabeth will officiate. Burial will be in Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Saturday at the funeral home. Born July 6, 1906, in Stockton, she was the daughter of William and Estella (Davis) Drew {sic Brew}. She married Albert Schmidt Aug. 22, 1925, in Schapville. He died May 6, 1958. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donna (Bruce) Williams of Elizabeth; three sons, Marion "Pete" and Donald "Bing," both of Galena and Charles of Freeport; one sister, Mrs. Hazel (C. H.) Tucker of Topeka, Kans.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
