Mrs. Hazel M. Tucker
Mrs. Hazel May Tucker, 88, 2075 Fillmore, formerly of 2939 Burlingame Road, died Tuesday at a Topeka convalescent home after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 23, 1893, at Rodin, Ill, the daughter of William and Stella Davis Brew. She lived in Topeka for 42 years.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Christian Church at Merriam.
She married Charles H. Tucker Sr., Jan. 3, 1911. He died in 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Delores M. Bybee, 1710 S.W. 33rd; a son, Charles H. Tucker Jr., Grantville; seven children; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private family graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Grantville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grantville United Methodist Church, Grantville, 66429, or Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 Burlingame Road, Topeka, 66611. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
