Lucinda married Major William Love on May 21, 1818, and lived in a log cabin in the wilderness of Barre, NY.
Their 10 children:
1) William Delos; b. 09/29/1819; Congregational clergyman living in Hartford, CT
2) Samuel G.; 05/30/1821-11/12/1893; well known school organizer & teacher, also librarian of Prendergast Library at Jamestown
3) Ozno; b. 02/08/1823; educated in common school & attended the academy one winter; for nearly 40 years he was a farmer in Orleans Co, during which time he owned several farms in Barre. In 1881 came to live in Albion village. He was originally a Whig, a strong anti-slavery advocate & one of the 1st Republicans in the county. He was supervisor of Barre in 1873-74 & was assessor of that town for several years. For many years he was a trustee of the Presbyterian Church at Barre Centre. Married 1st wife, Martha Street on 09/26/1844, they had 2 kids: Lucius Delos, who died in 1882, & child who died in infancy; 2nd wife was Emily (Atherton) of Barre, widow of Charles Webster & daughter of Alonzo D. Atherton
4) Lavancha E.; 10/27/1824-02/02/1870; married A.Z. Barrows, who was a teacher in Buffalo public schools for more than 40 years, where Lavancha also taught
5) Laura M.; b. 07/17/1826; married William C. Scofield, a Congregational minister of Washington, D.C.
6) Miranda H.; b. 03/27/1828; married William E. Ledyard, late of Milwaukee, WI
7) Levi; 09/29/1830-02/01/1831
8) Jerome; b. 09/06/1832; in early life a teacher, subsequently a farmer in Murray
9) Albert S.; b. 05/31/1835; reared on his father's farm, educated in the district school & Randolph Academy & later taught at the Academy for 2 years. He taught school & worked on the farm about 10 years. Aug 13, 1860, married Marietta, daughter of Harry W. Weed, of Kendall, & they had 3 kids: Cora L., Ella M., Edith M. In 1862 he moved to Marion, IA, where he was principal of a Union school at the county seat, & also engaged in farming. Upon the death of his father he returned to Barre & bought the home farm. In 1891 he came to live in the county seat. He was assessor in Barre for 6 years & was also connected with the schools interests of that town.
10) Franklin D.; b. 05/12/1837; for nearly 30 years was a teacher in Buffalo, NY
