Orrin R Cassel, 74, a retired carpenter, died Sunday morning in the home of Mr and Mrs Charles Flickinger three miles south of Wakarusa on State Road 19. Death was due to complications.
He was born Jan 15, 1882, in Elkhart county, the son of Abraham Cassel and Amanda Cassel. He never married.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Mrs Flickinger with whom he had stayed for the past three weeks.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm today in the Lienhart funeral home. The Rev Oscar Fike, pastor of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren, was in charge. Burial was in the Yellow Creek cemetery.
