Sadie Cassel was born in Harrison township, June 17, 1880, died at her home in Wakarusa, Indiana, April 11, 1918, at an age of 37 years, 9 months, 25 days.

She was united in marriage to William Weaver and to them eight children were born, 4 sons and 4 daughters, 2 daughters preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her seemingly untimely death, a husband, 4 sons, 2 daughters (one only two weeks old), a sorrowing mother Mrs Levi Anglemyer, one brother, Orvin Cassel of Waterford; one half-sister, Mrs Elmer Anglemyer; one half-brother, Vernon of Gibson, Ill.

About 20 years ago she united with the Mennonite church and lived a consistant life. She was a very devoted mother and her conversations were usually in the interest of her family.

The funeral services were held from the M B C Church at Wakarusa on Sunday 14th where a very large congregation had gathered. Burial was made in the Olive cemetery. Services conducted by A B Yoder and O L Flisher.
