Funeral services for Mrs. James M. (Florence Jean) Huse,36, killed in an automobile accident Saturday afternoon will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ruidoso Downs. Rev. Hugh Stiles, church pastor will be assisted by Rev. Mike Mojica of Albuquerque, a friend of the Huse family. Burial will be in Ruidoso's Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Huse, the former Florence Jean Matteson, was born in Taos, but grew up in Alamogordo. Her mother, Mrs. Clarence Mitchell lives at 1312 19th st. Mrs. Huse is survived by her brothers Raymond, Robert, and Richard Matteson, her husband, and six daughters:Jeanie 14, Shirley 12, Linda 8, Carol Sue and Judy Lou 6, and Cynthia 4. Mrs. Huse was a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Seminary where she received her BRE degree. She had been assisting her husband in his missionary work for four years.
