Bluegrass Fiddler. Campbell played fiddle for some of the legends of Bluegrass. He was a member of Bill Monroe's "Bluegrass Boys," and also played with Jim & Jesse and the Osborne Brothers. Later on, he was a member of the band The Sidemen. He was found dead, along with Rosey Carter Nix Adams on a touring bus.
