Sarah "Sallie" Lentz married Joel Joseph Freeman about 1819, in North Carolina, 3G grandparents. Daughter of John Jacob Lentz, (the son of Johann S. Lentz and Anna Bechtel) and Mary Yost-Lentz. Sarah was Christened on June 28, 1806 in the Organ Lutheran Church in Rowan Co., NC. They migrated to, Bedford Co., Tennessee and then on to Graves Co., Kentucky. Sarah was the mother of William Calvin Freeman, husband of Rose E. Ross, John B. Freeman, husband of Angelina, Mary E. Freeman, wife of James B. Gambill, Nancy M. Freeman, wife of William Earnhart, Jacob B. Freeman, husband of Amanda M. Dixon, Evalina Freeman who died young, Otha Nilus Freeman, husband of Nancy Thompson, Allen Freeman husband of Polly C. Ivy, and Thomas Freeman, who lived with his father after Sallie died, in Symsonia, Graves Co., KY. Her son Jacob B. was named after her father Jacob Lentz, and possibly her uncle Benjamin. Of her many siblings was; John 1802, Charles 1803, Sophia 1806, Nancy 1808, Elizabeth 1808, Jacobus 1809, and David 1814, Nathan 1819, Margaret 1822, and a few others who may have died in Dalton, GA, around 1865. Susanna died in 1883 in Stoney Point, NC. May GGG Grandmother Sallie, rest in peace.
