Levi Roudabush well known retired Bedford county teacher and farmer and a resident of Osterburg and vicinity most of his life, died at his Morrisons Cove home at Martinsburg of a complication of ailments. He had been a guest there for the past four years.

He was a son of John and Elizabeth (Claar) Roudabush and was born at Lovely, Bedford county, April 12, 1858. He taught school for thirty-two years and followed farming when not teaching. He was united in marriage with Miss Mattie Ake 63 years ago. She died fifteen years ago.

Surviving are one son and one daughter. Martin Roudabush of Washington, D.C. and Lillian Roudabush in California and twelve grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Sarah Weyandt of Geeseytown, C.C. Roudabush of California and J.H. Roudabush and Mrs. Charles Imler, both of Imler. He was a member of the Osterburg Reformed church and of the Odd Fellows lodge at St. Clairsville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Apr 29, at the Osterburg Reformed church. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
