TYRONE — Nettie G. Gorman, 84, a life-long resident of Houtzdale until three years ago when she moved to Tyrone, died yesterday morning following an extended illness.
Born at Houtzdale Nov. 20, 1880, she was a daughter of the late John and Jane (Reeves) Grant. She is survived by: two sons, Edward R. of Coraopolis and Thomas F. of Tyrone; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother, John of Ernest, Indiana County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on Nov. 20, 1956, and by three sisters and a brother.
She attended the Presbyterian Church of Houtzdale.
Friends may call in the Freeberg Funeral Home after 7 p. m. today. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m in the funeral home with the Rev. Merrill Barter officiating.
