Berniece Barbee Cody, 84, of Avon, IN passed away November 8, 2011 in Indianapolis. She was a daughter of Paul and Della (Alexander) Barbee.
She was a member of Eagledale Baptist Church. Berniece loved music, singing in the choir and working in the church library.
She was preceded in death by husband Emmett Cody, daughter Marcia Campbell and mother Della Barbee.
She is survived by her children: Stephen (Cheri), Mike (Vicki), David (Janice) and Paula Cody, sister Dolores Richards, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway with burial at Washington Park North Cemetery.
