Died, at the residence of Mrs. Mary Bass, on Thursday October 27, 1892, at 10:20 o'clock a.m. William Park, aged 15 years, 6 months and 14 days.

Mr.Green had come to town a few days when he was prostrated with sickness. After lingering several weeks, and having every care kind hands could minister, he passed in the shadow of death to emerge in a happy beyond, the possessor of a happy belief in his Lord and master. He was buried Friday morning at 10 o'clock in the Masonic cemetery.

A Young Life Ended in Rosy Sunset

Wm. Parke Green was only in his sixteenth year, a student of our college of only a day or two, when the hand of disease was laid on him that turned to be the hand of death. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Green, who reside near Harwood. For more than a year he had given evidence that the profession which last summer a year he had made was not in vain. He was a quiet, steady, good boy. He was boarding with that excellent Christian lady, Mrs. Bass, at the time of his sickness and she with the aid of others, did all that human care and kindness could do that human care and kindness could do to give him comfort and smooth his path down to the early tomb. With no fear of death because Jesus held his hand, though young and hopeful of life and eager for its race, he paused to hear the voice of heaven calling and submissive, he responded, and has gone to be forver with God and Christ and blest on high.

How beautiful is consecrated youth. Oh, thsat all our boys and girls and young men and maidens might like this precious son, honor themselves by honoring the Savior who bled and died for them and come in youth and lay themselves upon his alter.

Brother, thou hast entered heaven young,
To praisc God with youthful tongue.
Thou art missed from earthly throngs,
But shall help to swell heavenly songs.
