Owned and operated The Hill Farm and Implement Company, Hill's General Store, on historic Route 40 in Lafayette, Ohio across from the still existing Red Brick Tavern.
The Hill name can still be seen in brick on that building. His home was on the same side of the road just East across the alley.
Rumored that was the first house with indoor plumbing in the area.
