Very active in the Lafayette Methodist Church for years where she was the organist, she loved music -- musicals, Lawrence Welk, church hymns, could not abide or understand rock and roll, boys with long hair, girls wearing pants. She was a tea totaller, someone offered her a glass of wine once which she refused and was called an "old horse and buggy" she was proud of that moniker and told the story often.
Loved baking, took cake decorating courses and created beautiful hand crafted intricate cakes. She loved gardening, canning, was an excellent seamstress, tatter and quilter. Never learned to drive.
Only daughter of Daniel Barton & Etura Iona (Van Dyke) Hill.
Wife of Leamon Rollins. Mother of Betty M. (Mrs.William) Henry -- all buried at Deer Creek.
Sister of Ernest, Keith, John Marion, Bill (Raymond) Hill.
