FORMER MARTITE DIES IN HOME AT GILMER
Dee B. Clonts, 80, of Gilmer, formerly of Mart, died last Saturday morning at his home.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Other services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Littlepage Chapel with Rev. Seth Johnson officiating. Burial was in Mart Cemetery.
Mrs. Clonts was born april 23, 1895, in Frost. He lived in Mart from 1920 to 1936. He was a cotton buyer and rancher and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Karem Temple. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Clonts; a sister, Mrs. Rufus Hinson of Mart; and two brothers, Brown Clonts of Mart and W.E. Clonts of Knox City.
